Description
Appletree calls the AppleSlice V4 the next evolution of its most versatile wing board. It is a refined version of the V3, redesigned for more precision, control and connection. Appletree says the new shape feels smoother, lighter and more balanced underfoot while keeping the all-around versatility that made the Slice a favorite. It is intuitive for intermediate riders and finely tuned for advanced foilers who want a blend of precision, speed and flow.
What’s new in the V4
- Narrower outline on the mid sizes: a faster, more agile and more responsive feel. Appletree says the 70L now sits between a sinker and a mid-size board, offering the best of both.
- Refined tail: a narrower back section releases water more cleanly for smoother flow and better control in carving turns.
- Wide point moved slightly forward: more lift under the front foot, easier early take-off and a naturally balanced glide, especially in smaller, performance-oriented volumes.
- Slightly increased nose rocker: gets the board onto foil faster and is more forgiving when accelerating or cutting through chop, with softer, more predictable touchdowns.
- New concave deck under the front foot: locks you in for better grip and connection with the foil, with clear feedback and extra front-end volume for stability.
- Updated insert configuration: keeps the board lighter overall. The deck pad layout extends further toward the tail and lies flatter, for a smoother setup and better protection in transport.
Who it’s for
Riders stepping up from a first board, riders chasing a high-performance sinker for carving and freestyle, and advanced foilers who want precision and flow. Appletree groups the AppleSlice V4 sizes this way:

- 70 L to 80 L: the blend of performance and accessibility for intermediate to advanced riders
- 90 L to 115 L: stability, smooth early lift and confidence for progressing riders or light-wind sessions
